The Kellogg Fishing Club (KFC) was originally established in 1993 and is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization formed by and for individuals and families that share a common love of bass fishing.
We are based in the Houston, Texas area, and have had the support of hundreds of members throughout our many years. Many of the original members still fish with the Club and continue to enjoy the comradery that this organization brings.
KFC organizes ten fishing tournaments each year all over South and East Texas. This year we will fish Fayette County, Nacogdoches, Sam Rayburn, Athens, Bastrop, Palestine, Toledo Bend, and Conroe. We fish quite a few “paper” tournaments on lakes that have slot limitations, and have all the electronic equipment, including a proprietary app, as well as our own state of the art scales for the lakes where we can bring fish to the ramp for weigh-ins. We even have a Memorial Tournament each year to honor those Club Members who are no longer with us but remain special fishermen in our hearts.
KFC encourages friendly, ethical competition and are strictly a “catch and release” Club. We are serious about the conservation of fish and their habitats and strive to preserve and protect that which we enjoy. What brings us all together is the friendships, the comradery, the sportsmanship and the love of BASS FISHING.
