The KFC 2nd Annual Memorial Tournament was a huge success. I would like to thank everyone that helped and participated. We were blessed with a perfect day. It started off kind of cold in the upper 40’s but warmed up to the upper 70’s by weigh-in and not a cloud in the sky. The fishing was decent, and fish were caught on a variety of baits. Cranks, Jerk-baits and soft plastics seemed to be the favorites. We had a tie for first place between Ron Dupree and Duane Jungerberg who both caught a super bass. Ron’s just happen to be ¾” bigger. COGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU.

Third was taken by Andy McKinney, Fourth by John Shepard and Fifth by Kevin Phillips. This event was a lot of fun and something we plan on doing every year. The raffle was new this year. The proceeds benefit the club and we raised $ 610 dollars. Thanks again to everyone that participated and congrats to those who won prizes.

Our next & last tournament is Lake Nacogdoches on November 13th. I hope to see you there.

Your Friend,

Andy McKinney
